Fexo 120 containing Fexofenadine Hydrochloride is a second-generation, long-acting non-sedating antihistamine. It works as a selective peripheral H1-receptor antagonist to block the effects of histamines during an allergic response. Because it does not cross the blood-brain barrier, it is highly unlikely to cause significant central nervous system drowsiness or sedation.
Relief of symptoms associated with seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis (sneezing, rhinorrhea, itchy nose/palate/throat, and watery eyes) and chronic idiopathic urticaria (skin rashes, wheals, and itching) in adults and children 12 years of age and older.
Adults and children 12 years and older: Take 1 tablet (120 mg) once daily with a glass of water. Avoid taking it with fruit juices (like apple, orange, or grapefruit) or antacids within 30 minutes of consumption as they can lower absorption.
