Alben-DS is a benzimidazole anthelmintic, active against most nematodes and some cestodes. It exhibits vermicidal, ovicidal, and larvicidal activity by blocking glucose uptake in susceptible helminths, thereby depleting their energy levels.
Hookworm, Roundworm, Threadworm, Whipworm, Strongyloides, Tapeworm, and Hydatid disease.
Adults & children over 2 years: 400 mg (1 tablet) as a single dose for common worm infestations. For strongyloidiasis or taeniasis, 400 mg daily for 3 consecutive days. Can be chewed or crushed. Follow specific medical guidance for Hydatid disease.
